Anyone knows why? I think in the manual they also mention sth about some devices like pc do not send the full signal and clip black and white so this will not work?Īnother question: according to the manual, in apl clipping test (chapter 2), black level (brightness setting) should be set so the flashing bars 19-28 can be seen. However, when i plug it to my pc connected to the c8 via hdmi and play the files using PowerDVD 18, the videos don't work: for example, in black clipping test, increasing brightness to even max does not reveal all flashing bars or in white clipping test, reduce contrast to min doesn't reveal all flashing bars either, so calibration cannot be done. Plugging the hard drive directly to my c8's usb port and the videos seem to work fine according to the instruction manual.

I downloaded and extracted the mp4 files to my external hard drive. Today I tried doing some basic calibration for sdr game mode using AVS HD 709 files.
